Fire Academy @ Mohave Community College: Bullhead City Fire Department partners with MCC & other agencies to provide an area Fire Academy.  This program is designed to prepare you for entry level fire fighter positions.

Requirements for Fire Service Employment:  The basic qualifications required for employment with Bullhead City Fire Department are as follows :

• At least 18years of age at time of application
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency
• IFSAC Fire Fighter I & II or equivalency
• National Registry or Arizona Basic EMCT Certification
• CPR Certification
