Forrest Taylor is currently the Division Chief of EMS. He began his fire service career in 2004 with San Bernardino County Fire Department. In 2006 he began working as a Firefighter/EMT for Hualapai Valley/NACFD and promoted his way to a Captain/Paramedic by 2012. He transferred to Mohave Valley Fire Department as a Captain in 2017. He has 14 years of experience in the fire service.
He is a graduate of Columbia Southern University with Summa Cum Laude honors and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science, as well as, an Associates of Science Degree in Fire Technology. He is a Hazardous Materials Technician, Swift Water Technician, Certified Emergency Paramedic, and possesses various other certificates including Fire Supervision and Management, Incident Commander and Safety Officer. During his fire service career, he has obtained Firefighter of the Year honors, President's List honors through Kaplan University, Fill the Boot Lead Coordinator, Shift Training Officer, Association President and Chairman of the Golden Valley Volunteer Firefighter's Pension and Retirement Board of Trustees. He is the father of two beautiful daughters and enjoys helping them appreciate life every day while being a positive influence to others. Forrest loves to golf, play volleyball and basketball and enjoys making a real difference in people's lives. |
