Life safety and property protection are the primary goals of the Bullhead City Fire Community Risk Reduction Division. It is comprised of the Fire Marshal, and two Community Risk Reduction members (Investigator/Inspectors).

The Community Risk Reduction Division performs inspections of businesses within the City of Bullhead City to assist business owners in eliminating hazards and maintaining a safe workplace. They are responsible for enforcing city council adopted codes and ordinances, issuing various permits, follow-up on citizen complaints in regards to possible hazards, and maintaining records for business in the city.

Other services provided by the Community Risk Reduction Division include fire investigations, public education, car seat classes, smoke alarm assistance and fire extinguisher training.
