CRITICAL CARE NURSES

  Bullhead City Fire Department announces open recruitment for the position of Critical Care Nurses  
to work on a part-time on-call basis for local and out-of-town ambulance transports
Pay is $4.00 per hour for being on call, and $40.00 per hour when a transport is taken

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 *Registered Nurse in good standing
*ACLS Certified
* 1 year Emergency Room or Critical Care experience
* Ability to pass background and drug testing

VOLUNTEERS Needed
for Emergency Services Unit

  Bullhead City Fire Department announces the addition of an Emergency Services Unit. 
This specialized unit will consist of qualified and trained volunteers who will provide
support to the fire department on emergency scenes.  One of the many roles of the unit will be
setting up a rehabilitation center on fire scenes.  The volunteers may also assist with traffic
and crowd control,  hose protection,  evacuation, and public education.  The volunteers will
always  work under the direction of the incident commander. 

A complete packet is available for interested individuals.  The packet outlines minimum
requirements and responsibilities of the ESU Volunteers.  Applicants will be required to
pass a background test and a drug screen.  They must also possess a valid drivers license.
