A Message from Bullhead City Fire Department

Welcome!
Thank you for taking time to learn more about the Bullhead City Fire Department.

The information on this Web site has been designed to help you learn more about our department and the way it operates.  It can also be used as a tool to give you information on how to prevent fires and protect yourself in a variety of life and property-threatening situations.  We hope that you will find it easy to use and the information beneficial.

Operationally, the Bullhead City Fire Department responds to emergencies from 5 fire stations that are strategically located within the 54 square miles that comprise the boundaries of the fire district.  Our department is 111 members strong and is represented by a diverse workforce of dedicated men and women assigned to one of five major divisions; Prevention, Suppression, Training, EMS, Administration, and Support Services.

It is a privilege to lead a progressive, customer-driven fire department that constantly works hard to meet the fire and rescue needs of our community.  The fire department is a key member in providing community safety and we accept and embrace this challenge in earnest and with commitment.  It is only possible through the dedicated efforts of our uniformed personnel and support staff.
As the world is evolving and our community continues to grow and mature, so too has our mission in that it is not simply confined to “traditional” fire services. Therefore, our mission statement reflects a commensurate need for our fire department to think and operate in a more encompassing manner. The mission of the Bullhead City Fire Department is to provide effective emergency services and education to ensure community safety and enhance quality of life.  We will accomplish this with professionalism, integrity, courage, dedication and compassion and we will be prepared and ready to respond, as we pursue every opportunity to make our community a better and safer place, now and in the future.  We can do this through leadership, responsible fiscal management, planning, aggressive training and thoughtful customer service in the area of fire prevention, fire suppression, rescue operations and all other aspects of emergency medical services.

We are passionate about community outreach and establishing a proactive department rather than a reactive department.  It is important to educate the community about fire safety and prevention. We will continue to uphold our commitments and to work hard to prevent any member of the community from suffering the effects of fire and other unfortunate events.
We will actively participate, serve as role models, and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all resources available to provide excellent service to the citizens and visitors of our community.

Once again, welcome to our Web site, enjoy, and please contact us if you have any additional questions or have suggestions to improve our services to you.
