The Academy Class of 2009 graduated 25 successful cadets on June 27, 2009.  One hundred percent
of the class obtained their Arizona Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2 certifications.  Nine of the
graduates are already Nationally and Arizona EMT certified and are eligible to apply
for work as reserve firefighters.  The other graduates are now taking an EMT course and
upon completion will be eligible to apply for work as reserve firefighters.

Shawn Barr, Russell Hindman, Patrick Sherman, Nathan Bryant, Mike Simms, Josh Anselmo,
Jordan Butterfield, Jesse Bower, Jeremy Thompson, Jason Underwood, Henry Lawrence, Gabriel Cobb,
Erik Contreras, David Miura, Danny Gieck, Dan Downey, Dalton Trubey, Cody Fiske, Brett Wildebauer,
